The Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) has recommended an early close for the U.S. bond market on Friday, December 30, 2011. The U.S. stock market will observe normal business hours on that day. PricingDirect will capture the early bond market close, and deliver fixed income and derivative evaluations for "Bond Close" by 3:30 PM EST. Since the U.S. stock market will observe normal business hours on December 30, PricingDirect's scheduled delivery of fixed income and derivative evaluations for "Stock Close" will not change.

On Monday, January 2, 2012, both the U.S. bond and stock markets will be closed in observance of New Year's Day. PricingDirect will not deliver any evaluations on January 2, 2012.

On Saturday, November 19, 2011, PricingDirect participated in a large-scale test of our backup East Coast data center. In this exercise, our technology support team successfully re-pointed our operations to the fully redundant applications, compute servers, databases, file systems and network services that are housed at this alternate location. PricingDirect conducts tests of this nature on a regular basis in order to ensure the resiliency of our service.

On Thursday, November 24, 2011, both the U.S. bond and stock markets will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving Day. PricingDirect will not calculate fixed income evaluations for either U.S. "Bond Close" or "Stock Close" on November 24. However, we will calculate non-U.S. derivative evaluations that day, as well as European ABS, MBS and CLOs, and deliver those evaluations at the regularly scheduled times to clients outside of the U.S.

In addition, the U.S. stock market will close early on that day. London and European snapshots will remain on the normal schedule that day.

On Friday, November 11, 2011, the U.S. stock market will be open as usual, but the U.S. bond market will be closed, in observance of Veterans' Day. On a day when the U.S. bond market is closed but the stock market is open, PricingDirect's fixed income clients have the option to request delivery of the most recently available evaluations. For USD securities, such evaluations will be as of the previous business day; for most non-USD securities, such evaluations will be as of November 11. PricingDirect will deliver fixed income evaluations on Friday, November 11, 2011 based on each client's existing delivery preferences for such holidays. (Those preferences were last used on Columbus Day 2011.) Any clients who wish to change their preferences should contact their PricingDirect sales representative.

PricingDirect derivative clients will receive evaluations as usual on Friday, November 11, 2011.

Despite the current uncertain outlook for the US and European bond markets, PricingDirect is prepared to continue to provide its clients with the highest quality evaluations available for fixed income securities and derivatives. As has been the case in past periods of market stress, PricingDirect will rely on several core aspects of its business model:

1. PricingDirect has direct access to the trading desks, research and technology of J.P. Morgan, a firm with broad global capabilities in primary and secondary markets.
   
   
2. We anticipate no change to our policy regarding stale prices. In addition, we do not plan to decrease any of our normal price validation and variance checks, and in fact we may increase such checks depending on market conditions.
   
   
3. We believe there may be pricing anomalies in the event of a market disruption. Such anomalies may require us to adjust our spreads to reflect new liquidity and risk premiums.

In response to significant client demand, PricingDirect will offer evaluations of zero coupon swaps (ZCS) in Brazilian Real (BRL) currency, beginning Monday, July 11, 2011. In order to incorporate the effect of the recently introduced tax on non-Brazilian holders of BRL financial instruments, our evaluations of BRL ZCS will use the offshore BRL curve for discounting. PricingDirect will continue to expand its list of available interest rate swap currencies (which currently stands at ten), and subsequent additions will also be announced on this website.

As of Wednesday, February 23, 2011, PricingDirect began providing its clients with evaluations for CMOs backed by Ginnie Mae project loans. With approximately 2,000 such securities outstanding, the Ginnie Mae project loan CMO sector has been one of the few securitization markets to see significant new issuance over the last three years. As such, investor interest in the sector has been strong, and PricingDirect is pleased to be able to meet it. Our methodology for project loan CMO evaluations is discussed in the current edition of our Evaluation Methodology book, which is available to our clients under the "Docs & Downloads" tab when they log into our website.

PricingDirect has developed new APIs to retrieve pricing information from our databases and for price challenges, which provide the following benefits:

• A price retrieval and price challenge process on any platform (Unix, Linux or Windows).
• Can be used to schedule an automatic price retrieval process via a file or programmatically. We have benchmarked a retrieval of 65,000 evaluations in 10 seconds in our test environment.
• A seamless interface for internal systems to submit one or more price challenges.
• Can be used for the existing price challenge process as it supports flexible client file formats.
• Functionality to access challenge status across different dates.
• Real time version alert for both challenges and price retrieval to keep clients updated with technology upgrades.

These PricingDirect APIs require a Java 1.6 environment. The API jar is available for download at our website under the "Docs and Downloads" tab in the section "API."

Effective January 18, 2011, PricingDirect will change its methodology to calculate spot GNMA II prices. At present, GNMA II spot prices are calculated as a price spread to the GNMA I spot price. Beginning on January 18, we will use different prepayment speed assumptions, rather than the same assumptions, to price GNMA I and GNMA II pools of a given coupon. This change in methodology reflects the significant differences in actual speeds that have been recently observed between the two programs.

We are pleased to announce significant upgrades to PricingDirect Online, our web portal. We have enhanced the services available in PricingStudio, our original application, and in addition are launching two new services: Price Validation and Price Challenge.

Price Validation allows our clients to access evaluator comments for all securities which are identified as being "big movers" on a given day.

Price Challenge allows our clients to register challenges and get real-time access to the price challenge process (i.e., receive the PricingDirect response as soon as it is available), and also get statistics on historical challenges.

In addition, the functionality of Price Validation and Price Challenge is available in a lightweight Excel add-in, so clients can access all of this functionality, in real-time, directly from their desktops.

On Monday, April 26, 2010, we will release a new Excel add-in that will give our clients access to much of the functionality of the PricingDirect web portal directly from their desktop. Clients using the portal will be able to request evaluations for a group of securities from Excel, and those evaluations, along with Validation Comments and other data, will be returned to them in the same Excel sheet. Due to a change in the market convention that is followed by primary dealers in credit default swaps, beginning today we will assume that all CDS tranches conform to SNAC standards. As a result, dirty evaluations will show 1 day of accrual beginning on the roll date (including the current roll: March 22, 2010), and accrual days will increment thereafter.

With the recent announcement of mortgage buyouts from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, PricingDirect plans to change its pricing methodology to reflect new agency- and coupon-specific projected prepayment speeds. These speeds will be determined by PricingDirect in conjunction with the J.P. Morgan research and trading desks. These changes will be instituted on March 10, 2010. Also, to reflect current market conditions, PricingDirect is going to change its settlement date convention to 'same day settlement' from 'next day settlement' on March 22, 2010.

PricingDirect now offers its clients an online report of securities with large daily price moves. Accessible via the 'Price Validation' tab at www.pricing-direct.com, this new feature displays the securities in each client's account that broke a daily price tolerance threshold, as well as a comment by the evaluator about the context of each move. Price tolerance thresholds are defined for over 200 separate security types, and are updated regularly as market conditions change. Since the Price Validation report selects only the 'big price movers' in each portfolio, it allows our clients to quickly identify and understand price movement for the affected securities.

During the months of January or February, 2010, PricingDirect expects to begin to use new mortgage analytics, including non-agency and agency prepayment models, as well as a mortgage rate model. These models will be deployed by JPMorgan in the near future, and PricingDirect will begin to use them after we calibrate our evaluation methodology to them.
